Had a lovely time at Flynn's for sure. Overall good service and tasty food, for sure plenty of Irish goodies and treats and even a decent amount of seafood too! We enjoyed all we had! My only complaint is the drink menu...for goodness sakes, put the dang prices on the menu, at least did beers and cocktails! If I'm taking people out to eat and treating them, I want an idea of what things cost without having to ask in front of them, "and how much is that?" It's just rude not to pair your drink prices and left a bad taste in my mouth...I don't like surprise drink tabs! Everything else though, wonderful!

Great Irish Bar! Perfect atmosphere. Good singer playing upbeat Irish music. Got lucky to find a table. They recommend reservations. Corn beef & cabbage special was excellent! Would recommend.

Fantastic food and great service. I've been here twice and decided to make a reservation the second time because of how packed it gets. The beef stew is phenomenal! Also, spinach and artichoke dip is tasty as well.

Best food and service we've found in myrtle beach. Was funny to see 2 cop cars pulling up as we went in, only to realize local pd was eating here. To me that speaks volumes. If the locals are eating here, then it has to be good. And was pleasantly surprised. Was a little bit of a walk from ocean drive hotel, but well worth it.

We love FLYNNS. We've been coming for years and their wings are the best in north Myrtle. The staff and owners always make us feel like family. Cheers to an Irish treasure on the Carolina coast.

Great service and food was really good. Had shrimp Alfredo and fish and chips. We enjoyed meal and would come back. Our server was excellent. If you are looking for a place to eat at reasonable price I would put it on your list of in N Myrtle for a week.

Mediocre food at best...bar nachos are literally hash browns with melted cheese as in hash browns you could get from mcdonalds. She crab soup had little to no crab meat actually in it and the crab dip tasted like horseradish and was served with regular ritz crackers. The potato soup was ok-- and the corn beef sandwich was dry. Just a bad food experience all around. The server pulled the "I'm off now, can you please pay your bill so I can go home now" card and that annoys me because I was once a server. Needless to say next vacation we won't be back.

This place is a great location for dinner. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. I had the Hamburger Steak with onions and french fries for around $8, and the breadsticks which come with the meal were some of the best I've ever had. Our server was attentive, and all-in-all, dinner here was a pleasant experience. There are two sections, the pub and the restaurant portion. I rather wished we'd been in the pub section, as the restaurant portion was more of a family atmosphere, but I'd return here again if I were in North Myrtle Beach.

Nice restaurant. Food was very good. Almost a perfect visit. The only complaint we had was with our server. We were with three groups. She screwed up our checks, we explained the mistakes and asked her to fix them. She returned with the same error so we paid and left. They were using manual checks. Maybe their POS system was down.

Well, they have Guinness so there are 2 stars for that. Food is marginal at best, Shepherds pie has beef in it (baa doesn't equal moo). We've eaten here twice and food seems like Sysco not home made. They do have a great selection of Irish Whisky, so let's add another star.

Atmosphere: sort of pub-like in a South Carolina sort of way. Service was great though and the place is clean and comfortable. The live band was trying too hard to be all things to all people and should probably pick a genre or two. And, it was loud. Food: really good and well prepared. We aren't from Ireland so can't speak to authenticity but it was what we expected Irish tavern food to be. Chef apparently doesn't like salt but that's not a problem at the table. My corned beef was a touch dry and the wife didn't care for her "chips" but that's not a problem with the food - just our tastes. I don't believe the mashed potatoes were really mashed here - they were powdered most surely. The bacon wrapped meatloaf was very tasty indeed! Cheaper than flying to Dublin to try the real thing. We'll probably be back but it's not going on our list of regulars.

Ate at bar, big mistake. Bartender more interested in watching college basketball than waiting on customers. Looked at menu, wife went to ladies room, about 5 minutes after she returned he finally got up from sitting in front of us and asked if we wanted to order. Wings were over cooked and dried out. Shepard's pie was bland. Not worth going back.

Stopping in for a pint is always a must at Flynn's! I enjoy the quiet laid back atmosphere while enjoying a guinness or a black and tan. Only had the appetizers here and they have been delicious. It is always on my to do list when visiting North Myrtle Beach!

This place rocks! Potato soup was to die for! Hot pepper aftertaste just like it should. We tried the chicken pot pie (good), potato encrusted grouper (outstanding), and the beef stew (very good, tho wife said not as good as the one in Conamarra Ireland. Have to give her that). They have excellent selection of irish whisky (Bushmills 21!) and prices are good. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

They have top notch traditional Irish fare and the ribeye steak tops most high end steak houses. Great atmosphere and friendly service. You will find something for everyone in your party. They are family friendly as well. A must visit on your restaurant list.

My only perspective is the weekend of St. Patrick's Day, which is just fine with me! A bunch of us stopped in here after the N. Myrtle Beach parade. They had tents and a mobile beer unit available outside (3 different beers on tap ). They also had a mobile bar outside, devoted to mixed drinks. The dining room was filled with very festive, Irish descendants, who were looking for more of the laid back side of St. Pat's (i.e. retired snow birds), while the group I was with, stayed in the bar area (next room over, non- retired snow birds), which was awesome! We could only eat if we had a table in the dining room (vs. at the bar), so beer overruled nourishment. We had a seat at the bar for close to 5 hours, not bad! The bartender's were great and were so friendly! They also had a small band who played Irish music for most of the afternoon. They also had a few tv's in the bar area. My fav was the shrine of Yankee bobble head's above the bar tables! Flynn's seems to be the nerve center for the after-Irish parade crowd! Great place to raise a pint (or two... or three...).

Horrible service and mediocre food. We waited an hour for our food to get there and the place was empty. The waitress could not give a straight answer on why it took so long. Very disappointing - will not go again.

My group of friends visiting North Myrtle Beach for a mini vacation needed a place to chill and drink. It was also St. Patrick's day so we wanted to try an Irish bar. This was pretty close to our hotel so 'why not'? Well I really wish we didn't come here because this was NOT my type of crowd. I'm talking old folks everywhere (no offense) but I just didn't enjoy my visit. Neither did anyone in my group. We were a group of younger & older but even the older folks didn't care to be there lol.

13 of our group had a great dinner tonight. crusted grouper and the corned beef were the top of our list. the flynn's are such nice people. for the new folks in our group, flynn's is the new "go-to" place !!

We have driven by this place a thousand times over the years and have never stopped in. We have been missing the boat! What a great place. It was not crowded for the summer season and we were promptly seated. Ice tea was good and our orders were taken quickly. I had a salad that was very good followed by blackened grouper which was excellent. My wife had a special, a hot turkey sandwich which she said was very good. I had to try the bread pudding that was served warm with apples and a vanilla sauce. It was great! Prices here are very reasonable. So the next time that your favorite place has a line around the corner, give this place a try. I think you will like it.

Awesome place we like to visit in Myrtle. Service is attentive, friendly and efficient each time. Awesome decorations- especially if you are a yankee fan!! Beautiful outside patio. SPOTLESS bathroom. Great food, great drinks. The Flynn's definitely get it right every time!!

Go here all the time. In fact, every time we are in town. My wife is a huge fan of their liver and onions. I used to get the Sheppards Pie, and did so for several years. But the last couple times the portion size seems to have been cut in half, so I stopped getting it. Started getting the Fish and Chips. And boom, portion size shrunk substantially again. While this does not make me happy, on the bright side it will cause me to check out some other things on the menu. We always, ALWAYS sit in the bar area or at the bar. The restaurant side of the place has no character or life to it. And during the spring and summer, the outside is great, unless its 100 degrees out.

hands down, the best fish and chips i've ever had -- EVER. and i get around on some fish and chips! our server (also the bartender) was completely awesome, attentive, and accommodating for our large party. draft beers were perfect, and he makes a delicious jameson olde fashioned to boot. this is now the top of my list of "must return to" stops in north myrtle beach!

The owners and staff were fantastic to us and the four kids we brought along. They went above and beyond to keep the kids happy. We had awesome food too, such as the meatloaf, shepherd's pie, and mac & cheese.

We've been to Flynn's 3-4 times now on our yearly trips to North Myrtle Beach. I have enjoyed the food and very friendly staff. The food is very good - not great - but very good. It's a friendly environment and welcomes kids. She crab soup is a must have...

This is a must stop when we are in the area. Good food and good service. Their daily specials a good value and happy hour lasts until seven. Music on Friday and Saturday nights. Almost like being in the UK.

Another of the "have to" stops when visiting North Myrtle Beach for our annual golf vacation. Outstanding atmosphere regardless of the season and staff is always over the top friendly. Food is traditional Irish and "Sheppard's pie" is one of my favorites. Bar always has a good mix of local and vacation patrons. This is the type of establishment that I would frequent on a regular basis if it wasn't 600 miles away. Stop in and enjoy the fun of a good local pub.

Awesome fish and chips. Our waitress was excellent with our kids. The owner stopped by and played with my two year old. Clearly they love what they are doing. Hands down this is the BEST meal I've ever had anywhere in Myrtle Beach. You will not be disappointed.
